Obama to Call Christmas Tree a “Holiday Tree” – Is this an affront to our cultural heritage?

Admittedly, we are all guilty in some way of taking Christ out of Christmas. If nothing else, we should be upset about the loss, or at least the degradation of, these cultural icons and heritage.  It’s hypocritical to say that we should embrace relativism to not sacrifice traditions of other cultures but have to sacrifice our own in the process. Also, I doubt people who celebrate the other minority holidays really feel included by the ambiguous “Holiday Tree”.
